A History of Freedom & Fellowship
Rutherford County's historic Gray's Chapel Church was officially founded in 1792. The site of the church played a prominent role in the American Revolutionary War, the grounds serving as a camp for American militia forces on their way to defeat General Ferguson at The Battle of Kings Mountain.
Today, it is a non-denominational fellowship of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Worship begins at 10:00 AM on Sundays with a mix of contemporary Christian songs and traditional hymns. Join us in our fellowship hall on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM for prayer, bible studies, fellowship & food!
